Goldfinch

About a mile down Swamp Road, on the right and up a little hill, you'll see this pretty little house.  We've lived here for three years now, and each time I see it, I still smile.  Sure, it's not a mansion, and we don't have a built in swimming pool, but in my eyes, this is bliss.  I love being able to look out the window and see a doe with its fawn, ground hogs in the back 40 and hawks flying overhead.  (Head count on the cats please).

Plans for this side of the house include cultivating the existing climbing roses growing up the trellis and lilac bushes along the path to the house.  We've also planted a few butterfly bushes on the left, under my office windows.  We're hoping they'll grow as well as those on the west side.
